At Canon Popham C of E Primary Academy, we strive to help every child to, ‘achieve great things’ and live ‘life in all its fullness’ by inspiring them with rich, fun experiences and equipping them with a love of learning. Our school has a strong Christian ethos built on our core Gospel values which the children focus upon each half term: Endurance, Forgiveness, Thankfulness, Justice, Hope and Compassion. We aim to promote Christian values for life through the experiences we offer our children. These values help our children to serve our community and each other. With close links with our parish church, other schools within DSAT and our dedicated team of staff, local school board and parents, we take pride in, “Learning and growing together in a love-filled Christian family”.

We believe that the partnership between home and school is very important and strive to develop this link. There are many opportunities for parents and carers to become involved in the work to the school and we always encourage them to play an active role in their child’s education. We welcome you to our school to see for yourself how parents, staff children are learning and growing together to achieve.
